Current Hong Kong E&M BIM usually focuses on model creation and coordination only. However, in the real project situation, it is always believed that the modelling efficiency is not high enough to catch up with the project situation and the BIM cannot help the E&M engineer on design. Therefore,  we develop the tool, MagiCAD to deal with all these kind of problem and make BIM fit to Hong Kong E&M project demand.

MagiCAD Contains 7 Modules including Ventilation, Piping, Electrical, Schematics, Quantity Survey, Support& Hanger, Cloud BIM Object Database, which meets the E&M BIM demand on the design stage, tender stage and even construction stage. The powerful modelling tool, database with millions of BIM objects and accurate engineering calculation engine makes E&M BIM modelling and design simple and easy.  It not only makes BIM more flexible and less time-consuming but also provide solutions to optimize the design, which satisfies consultants and contractors' different requirements on E&M Project. What is more, it is an easy tool to use which lowers the entry barrier of E&M BIM. Even though a rookie of BIM could learn how to use E&M BIM in a short time.
