BIM Education Symposium 2022

The Construction Industry Council (CIC) started to provide BIM training programmes to industry practitioners in facilitating the adoption of BIM in the construction industry since 2009. Nevertheless, it is essential to equip our new generations on BIM. Since December 2017, the CIC had signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with nine higher education institutions (HEIs) in Hong Kong for introducing knowledge of BIM into their programmes.

To share the achievements and good practices in BIM education among HEIs and prepare ahead for construction digitalisation in Hong Kong, the CIC is organising the first-ever BIM Education Symposium in Hong Kong to create synergy in driving BIM education in HEIs. It also aims to create a platform for the academia and industry to share and exchange ideas on BIM-enabled modern construction and other trending topics that are essential for students' careers.
