CIC BIM Competition 2019 is divided into two categories: Open Category and Tertiary Student Category. The participating team consists of 3 to 5 members from more than one discipline. The theme of the Competition is BIM for design collaboration. Participants are required to prepare a design for redeveloping a campus into a "Digital Design & Construction Centre".

Tertiary Student Category divided into two rounds of competition. The nine teams selected by judging panel entering into the 2^nd round competition on 15 Jun 2019 (Sat) were required to made amendments on the 1^st round submission onsite within 12 hours.
