Construction Digitalisation Webinar aims at promoting the latest construction digitalisation-related information to stakeholders. Having the ability to nowcast and forecast the behaviour of a catchment under expected rainfall and downstream boundary conditions is without doubt an extremely useful addition to the tool box of any team in charge of  responding to emergency flooding situations. Despite  this, effective flood forecasting systems are rare,  particularly for  heavily developed urban environments. This webinar will give an overview of those systems and their challenges especially focusing on those aspects relevant for Hong Kong’s catchments. It will also introduce Autodesk’s software suite for implementing and managing flood forecast systems (ICMLive) and will provide a summary of best practice and lessons learnt with illustrative real case examples developed in other countries.
