In response to increasing demand from the industry, CIC has prepared the "CIC Special Conditions of Contract for BIM" and "CIC BIM Services Agreement" , to provide a set of standard contractual documents for the implementation of BIM technologies in construction projects for industry's reference. And promoting collaboration by different project parties over the BIM platform.

Special Conditions of Contract for BIM (SCC for BIM)

The purpose of the Special Conditions of Contract for BIM is to set out the rights and responsibilities of projects parties when contributing information to and extracting information from the BIM Model for the Project to achieve the selected target uses in the design and construction of the Project.

BIM Services Agreement (BIM SA)

The BIM Services Agreement is intended for engagement of an independent BIM Services Provider in performing the BIM related tasks, including to act as the BIM Manager.

A briefing webinar is being held to introduce on the SCC for BIM and BIM SA and how these standard contractual documents could be used together with the CIC BIM Exchange Information Requirements (EIR) Templates and CIC BIM Standards in managing the construction projects with the use of BIM.
