GSA created the BIM Guide Series to document our learning experiences in a format that would be educational and supportive for GSA project teams, including GSA associates and the design and construction vendors who work on our projects. In addition, a major purpose of the BIM Guide Series is to provide guidance and requirements for project teams that are beginning new projects, ensuring that GSA projects utilize BIM in the most beneficial, efficient way possible at the time of their inception. GSA worked in collaboration with academic and professional non-profit groups to ensure that our findings would be made available in a away that benefits additional owners and operators, and, in fact, any interested member of the public.
